Had a girls' day out. Or rather a girls' evening out.
My friend and I, we talked about the transient nature of things, how people change with time, and how these changes happen whether or not you like it.
Friends move apart, distances broaden, and new people enter our lives. Its just easier to deal with if you decide that you want to deal with it. Better than being left behind, and them stomped all over as a consequence.
Yeah, left behind. I'm someone to talk. I got drenched in the downpour this evening all cause the stupid idiot who calls herself my friend decided she was gonna run for it. WITH the damn umbrella. Smooth move there, friend. Well, in this situation, I was obviously feeling left behind. And wet.
But heck, the heart-to-heart bitching session sure did help. Feeling wet wasn't so bad...not bad at all. Especially when you have hilarious company.
On a different note, her place is weird. Plain damn weird. So many people there, and all of them are covered in eyes, or so I feel every time I step into their living room. I think they think I'm weird, and they know that I think that they think that I'm weird, but this hardly is a reason to stop staring at the new alien (yours truly) that just seemed to pop out of thin air. For crying out loud, I entered through the damn door, not the kitchen cabinet! So will you just quit staring?!
I get the feeling my frequent visits (I was up at her place twice in 10 minutes, but that's not my fault, it began to rain! Lets just blame the Gods and settle this, yeah?) are definitely not going to get me onto their good books.
Hmmm, I think I'll stop going there, I'll just holler for her to come downstairs to meet...seems more foolproof than going up there.
